The relationship with this client allowed us to contract for three different phases which included the kitchen where old cabinets were refaced and new custom cabinets were installed to look cohesive with the existing woodwork. A load bearing wall between the kitchen and the living room was removed to create an open space and we built a small trey ceiling in the dining room for character
A new sunroom with a vaulted ceiling was constructed and we added new bench seating along the entire length of a windowed wall to bring in as much daylight as possible. The sunroom construction was a particular challenge when we encountered large amounts of stone that needed to be excavated prior to construction.
In the living room we took an interesting approach to the retiled fireplace where the same tile was used in a variety of different layouts for a high design element.
